“I visited the Wizard of Oz yesterday and I thought the production was absolutely spectacular. The children grow all the time in confidence and ability and the production team are fabulous. I would definitely reconmmend to anyone.”

“My daughter has been a part of Valley for just over a year now and has taken part in last years pantomime and their current production of Wizard of Oz. I can honestly say that Valley has given her such a massive confidence boost, and has hugely benefitted her in terms of social confidence, acting and dramatic skills! The teachers are second to none, they all have huge skill sets in teaching and peforming and really know how to bring out the best in the children. As for the performances, I can honestly say that they are second to none. Having been to see the Wizard of Oz last week it was amazing. The costumes, set design, everything was done in house and was of the most professional quality. Jack and the Beanstalk had me literally crying with laughter, it was as good as, if not better than any of the proffessional shows put on in and around Manchester / Rossendale. In short, if you are looking for a place where your child’s talent can be nurtured grown and developed, Valley is for them! If you are looking for a great night out, their performances and shows are of the utmost quality – come and see them!”

“I visited Valley Production Jack and the Beanstalk and I can honestly say it is the best pantomime I have ever been to. The enthusiasm from Valley Academy students was fantastic and it showed they all enjoy what they do. It absolutely made my day and despite the awful snow outside, my worries were forgotten when the music started and the lights came up. I will definitely be visiting next years pantomime and I will recommend to anyone who just loves a good night out!”

“I attend all of the productions that Valley Academy put on and I must say that they are of the best quality, especially given that most of the big parts are done by kids aged 12-16! The musicals are wonderful and the pantomime rivals the professional productions I have seen in places like Manchester. What a wonderful thing to be happening in the Valley, well done to all!”

“When I came to see ‘Oliver!’ I thought I was coming to a church hall production but I was transported to a magical place!”
“The one thing I look forward to in the week is Valley Academy. The shows we do are fun and enjoyable. Everyone is really nice. Grant is a great teacher and is kind. It’s the most fun thing I have done.”
Isaac and Gabriel Power aged 12 and 9.
“Both of our children love attending Valley Academy. They have made so many friends, and really benefit from being part of a team (which really feels more like a family as everyone is so friendly) and as a result their confidence is growing daily. One of the best things about Valley Academy is that every child, regardless of obvious talent or ability is given equal opportunity and encouragement to participate as fully as they wish to in all performances. Consequently everyone feels valued, and every child, without exception performs with a smile beaming from their face! It’s a wonderful thing to see.”
Ken and Heather Power, parents of Isaac and Gabriel.
“I took my 3 children to see this production of Oliver in Crawshawbooth. I cannot believe that a production of this quality exists in Rossendale, in addition that all the cast were 16 and under! I have seen countless productions over the years and this was certainly West End quality! What a wonderful group of talented children! Everything from the sound, costumes, lighting and set were of a professional standard, I couldn’t believe it. Well done especially to the production team (Grant, Rhys & Sally) for creating the West End in Crawshawbooth! My children and I thouroughly enjoyed the production and would urge everyone in Rossendale to go and see one of Valley Academy’s productions, top class. Bring on pantomime at christmas, I can’t wait!”

“I have nothing but praise and admiration for the Valley Academy team, where all children whatever their level of talent are given the opportunity to shine. Both my girls have attended since the group opened and have developed in both confidence and talent whilst making friends with children who share a love of performing. As a parent it is a great joy to watch your children perform and entertain an audience. This has been made possible due to the support of the talented and dedicated teachers. Thank you.”
Sheila Callan, parent of Jessica and Elisha aged 13 and 9.
“Austen thoroughly enjoys coming to Valley Academy. He is on such a high each week when I collect him. The benefits are enormous; generally building his confidence and self esteem and it’s a discipline too. E.g; Learning lines and not letting people down etc. The significant difference from other schools is the sense of camaraderie. It has a true family atmosphere. The classes are fun but still well structured and give the children a goal to work towards. Austen is really developing, learning real skills here. E.g; Delivery of lines and quality singing coaching. We are delighted that we found this and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to others.”
Nancy Lowe, parent of Austen aged 12.
“Valley Academy is an extremely happy place and friendly place where we all feel like a big family. VA is fun and enjoyable for all ages. I have made many new friends since I have been at the Academy. I have performed in two musical productions so far (Annie Jr. & Joseph in Concert) and they have been the highlights of my year. It has helped me to boost my confidence both off and on the stage.”
